The Lake Country HDO Blue Heavy Polishing Pad – 6.5" is a heavy-polishing foam pad designed for use with dual-action and long-throw polishers. Its larger 6.5" size makes it a good choice for working bigger gelcoat sections on hull sides, topsides, and broad flat panels where you want more coverage than a 3.5" pad.

At Lilly Marine, we recommend pairing this pad with Revival Polish & Protect for one-step polishing and protection on gelcoat. Revival’s recommended setup for light oxidation and scuff removal lists a Lake Country Blue HDO Foam Pad with Revival Polish & Protect on a DA polisher.

This pad gives more correction than a soft finishing pad while still finishing cleaner than a wool cutting pad. It is a strong option for removing light oxidation, haze, scuffs, and swirl marks while helping restore gloss. For heavy oxidation, start with a more aggressive cutting step first, then follow with Revival Polish & Protect on this blue HDO pad.
