This pad is not the primary Revival-recommended pad for Polish & Protect. At Lilly Marine, we carry it as a versatile orange polishing option for customers who prefer a larger foam pad for applying wax, cleaner waxes, light polish, or maintenance products with a DA polisher. Alternate pad for a 6” DA Polisher, if you don’t have 5” DA for Revival’s wax application.
The orange HDO foam has light polishing ability, making it useful for minor haze, light defects, micro-marring, and gloss enhancement on boats that are already in decent condition. It is not the right pad for heavy oxidation removal.
