The Lake Country SDO Blue Heavy Polishing Pad – 2.5" 4-Pack is a compact DA foam polishing pad designed for tight-area correction and polishing. It fits a 2" backing plate, making it useful around consoles, transoms, hard edges, hardware, tight corners, and smaller gelcoat sections where a larger pad is hard to control.
At Lilly Marine, we recommend pairing this pad with Revival Polish & Protect for light oxidation removal, haze cleanup, swirl reduction, and gloss improvement in smaller areas. The blue SDO foam provides more polishing bite than a soft finishing pad while still finishing cleaner than aggressive wool.
Lake Country’s SDO pads use a single-layer version of their engineered orbital foam. The tapered edge helps prevent pad rolling on curves and contours, while the center-ventilated design helps release heat and improve pad alignment.
